After completing a 25-year teaching career in a technical high school in northern New Jersey, Dianne moved to Michigan and began to volunteer at a non-profit refugee resettlement agency.
When she found herself in a classroom facing refugee and immigrant students from all over the world who needed to learn to work in America, she was unable to find suitable curriculum for this diverse group and created the Work Skills series.
Dianne has helped countless students find successful employment in west Michigan using these materials so they are able to support their families. Dianne says, “I have had the privilege of teaching some of the most wonderful people from all over the world. They have shared their knowledge, friendship, and cultures with me as they learned Work Skills in America. My students have blessed me in ways I never could have imagined!”
